Northeast Ground-Up Shop Build with Attached ADU—Deschutes County, Bend, OR

Residing just outside Bend city limits, this is the first sanctioned Deschutes County rural ADU and we’ve faced plenty of hurdles as the county scrambles to untangle things on their end. The planning was therefore tedious and took longer than typical. The build involves ALL the trades, including working with Pacific Power, Avion Water & TDS to tap into utilities. It’s a new experience for us and we’re learning & growing through each stage of the process. Stay tuned for more progress pictures and the final result!
